I was on Twitter the other day and I came across an interesting tweet that talked about an alternative to the traditional Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Being an avid PowerPoint user, I was intrigued. The solution is called Prezi and after testing it out, I can honestly say that it is a brand new way of creating presentations.
Prezi is an online solution that uses a mind map type approach to introduce topics, connect them to other topics and have the presentation flow in a seamless, fluid path. Confused? I know I was until I actually saw the Prezi tool in action (the video below will provide a more visual example of the Prezi presentation tool). Your Prezi presentations can be downloaded, burned to a CD/DVD or shared online. But what really makes Prezi presentations “pop” is the fluidity and connectivity of the tool.
You can read all you want about Prezi but you really won’t get the full effect of the tool until you actually see it. So with that in mind, check out this video that talks about Prezi and how to use it:
