Grooving out with Grooveshark

Sometimes you just come across a website that completely makes your day. Grooveshark will make your year! This amazing site allows you to stream MP3 files create your own playlist to listen to anytime. I’ll admit, at first I was a bit skeptical of the actual range of MP3s available on the site…after all, my musical preferences are quite diverse. That skepticism was quickly dashed when every single song I searched for, I found! Whether you like Major Lazer, Toni Basil or Mousse T (that’s a definite look-up), they’re all there ready for you to add them to your playlist.

While the wide range of songs available on the site is impressive in itself, other features, like the saved playlists and radio stations playing the musical genre of your choice, are also pretty cool. Oh yeah, if you want to share your playlists on your own website, you can do that with the Grooveshark widget. I also love the fact that some lesser known artists are prominently featured on the home page with links to more information about the artist(s) and how to purchase their music.

These features just scratch the surface of this amazing site, you really have to try it for yourself to truly appreciate just how good it really is. But for those skeptics (like me), here is a short video courtesy of cockyjeremy that talks about Grooveshark:

Enjoy!
